Hi, I'm Jenny Spurr

I’m a communications strategist and public relations professional with over a decade of experience managing national and international campaigns, coordinating media events, and building community partnerships. I’ve spent the last 14 years honing my craft with one goal: to make more vibrant and inclusive communities through storytelling.

Over the course of my career, I’ve introduced countless artists, musicians, and thought leaders to a network of media across the country. I've earned coverage of contemporary art exhibitions, world-premiere performances, international music festivals, and critically-acclaimed authors. I’ve raised awareness of important social issues, and I’ve contributed to the sustainability of non-profit organizations committed to making change.

I founded Perch Communications to help community-minded organizations like yours rise up through standout messaging and strategic media relations.

That’s my story. What’s yours?

Meet Team Perch

Jenny has assembled a network of socially conscious and curious associates in key media markets across Canada. They're former journalists, podcast hosts, content creators, and master storytellers. Meet the people behind Perch.
