We believe we are strongest when we work together. We are fierce collaborators, committed to the success of our clients, our company, and our community—because when one of us prospers, we all do.

Simplicity

We believe in simple solutions to complex problems. We tackle issues head-on with open, honest, and transparent communication. And we strive for clarity and consistency in everything we do.

Passion

We are passionate about our work, and take pride in delivering the highest quality service and the best results. We are committed to continuous improvement and lifelong learning, and we share what we learn with our peers.

Positivity

We believe in the power of our clients to create lasting, positive impact in the causes and communities they care about. We bring energy and enthusiasm to our work, and support our clients to the best of our ability.

Hi, I'm Jenny Spurr.

I’ve spent the last 14 years honing my craft with one goal: to make more vibrant and inclusive communities through storytelling. Throughout my career, I've been at the forefront of national and international campaigns, orchestrating impactful media events and forging strong partnerships that create positive change and bring people together in meaningful ways.

My work has been a bridge, connecting countless creators, innovators, and organizations with a nationwide media network. I've secured coverage for everything from cutting-edge art exhibitions and world-premiere performances to international music festivals and highly acclaimed authors. More importantly, I've used traditional media as a platform to shed light on crucial social issues, and contribute to policy changes that truly matter.

I founded Perch Communications to help non-profit and charitable organizations like yours rise up through standout messaging and a strategic approach to storytelling.

That’s my story. What’s yours?

Meet Team Perch

Jenny has assembled a network of associates in key markets across Canada. They're former journalists, podcast hosts, content creators, and master storytellers. Meet the people behind Perch.
